Original Grande French movie-poster for the first release of 1983. Original French title "L'ARGENT". Size 47x63 inches / 160x120 cm Great artwork by PEELLAERT (see picture for his signature). Poster folded in Very good condition the folds are visibles as usual + the poster has been wrongly folded at the origine (see picture) + Some few pine holes on the borders especially on the corners (see pictures) + small rips on the left border but only on a small part (see picture) + the title has been written at back but it is not visible on the artwork side (see picture). The film is loosely inspired by the first part of Leo Tolstoy's posthumously published 1911 novella "The Forged Coupon".
It was Bresson's last film and won the Director's prize at the1983 Cannes Film Festival. French drama film written and directed by Robert Bresson. Christian Patey, Michel Briguet, Sylvie Van Den Elsen.
